Anthropic Releases Claude 3.5 Sonnet Model

Anthropic has released the Claude 3.5 Sonnet model, which Anthropic says is a significant improvement in capturing nuance, humor, and complex instructions, as well as an excellent way to write high-quality content in a natural, logical tone. In addition, it can write, edit, and execute code. The Claude 3.5 Sonnet model is currently available for free on the website and in the Claude iPhone app, and is also available to subscribers of Claude Pro and Team. Third-party app developers can plug the model into their apps from the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Vertex AI.

In conjunction with the release of the new model, Anthropic is also introducing a new feature on called ‘Artifacts’. When a user requests Claude to generate something like a code snippet, text document, or website design, these Artifacts are displayed in a dedicated window next to the dialog, where the user can view, edit, and build Claude’s creation in real time. In this way, AI-generated content can be seamlessly integrated into their projects and workflows.
