Anthropic Releases Claude 3.5 Sonnet Model

Anthropic has released the Claude 3.5 Sonnet model, which Anthropic says is a significant improvement in capturing nuance, humor, and complex instructions, as well as an excellent way to write high-quality content in a natural, logical tone. In addition, it can write, edit, and execute code. The Claude 3.5 Sonnet model is currently available for free on the Claude.ai website and in the Claude iPhone app, and is also available to subscribers of Claude Pro and Team. Third-party app developers can plug the model into their apps from the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Vertex AI.

In conjunction with the release of the new model, Anthropic is also introducing a new feature on Claude.ai called ‘Artifacts’. When a user requests Claude to generate something like a code snippet, text document, or website design, these Artifacts are displayed in a dedicated window next to the dialog, where the user can view, edit, and build Claude’s creation in real time. In this way, AI-generated content can be seamlessly integrated into their projects and workflows.

Microsoft Windows on ARM Gaming Ecosystem Update
On June 18th, Microsoft introduced the latest gaming achievements of the Windows on ARM platform on its official website. The Prism emulation layer converts x86 or x86-64 code instructions into ARM64 instructions without additional work from developers. It is now possible to run Baldur’s Gate 3 directly at high bit rates. On the anti-piracy front, Microsoft says that Windows on ARM now supports anti-piracy encryption solutions such as BattlEye, Denuvo Anti-Cheat, and Wellbia XIGNCODE3/UNCHEATER, meaning that gamers can enjoy their favorite games on Copilot+ PCs in a safe and fair manner. In particular, BattlEye has extended its support to ARM, making many popular games that use BattlEye exclusively now fully compatible with ARM-based devices.
