OpenGL 4.5 specification standard release, greatly enhance the API performance!

Recently, Khronos team released the latest version of OpenGL 4.5 standard specification, the new features include: Direct State Access, simplification of objects like textures, shader programs,properties settings and queries, easier porting from DX11 to OpenGL, etc. The new version brings the most advanced features into the industry’s most advanced 3D graphics API while maintaining backwards compatibility, so that the program can use the new feature gradually. Fatal Windows Updates List. Do something NOW!

According to a PC World report, the issues concern the following updates released this month:

  • 2982791
  • 2970228
  • 2975719
  • 297533

System crashes, fonts that don’t render properly, and security flaws are all problems that could arise with the troubled updates if installed. In its security bulletin, the company explains:

“The most severe of these vulnerabilities could allow elevation of privilege if an attacker logs on to the system and runs a specially crafted application. An attacker must have valid login credentials and be able to log on locally to exploit these vulnerabilities.”

A list of the Windows operating systems that could be affected include:

  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windows 7
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windown 8, Windows 8.1
  • Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012
  • Windows RT and Windows RT 8.1
